Drug Bust Following Collision: MOORE & PATROIS-HAYBECKER

(RENFREW, ON) Two people have been arrested and a significant quantity of illegal drugs seized after a single vehicle collision in Renfrew.
At approximately 4:15 a.m. today (Monday, February 24, 2025), officers with the Renfrew Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Detachment attempted to stop a suspicious vehicle on Lochiel Street, but the vehicle fled. It was found a short distance away after it left the road and crashed along Ma-Te-Way Park Drive. The driver fled on foot, while a passenger remained in the car. A search of the vehicle located suspected fentanyl, suspected cocaine and suspected methamphetamine. Officers also seized items typically associated with drug trafficking. The passenger was arrested at the scene and the driver was located and arrested nearby, with assistance from the OPP Canine Unit.
Tyler MOORE, age 43 of Arnprior has been charged with:
Possession of a schedule 1 substance for the purpose of trafficking two counts
Possession of a schedule 1 substance two counts
Dangerous operation of a vehicle
Flight from a peace officer
Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5000
Driving while under suspension
Failing to remain at the scene of an accident
Operation of a vehicle without insurance
Using a plate not authorized for a vehicle
Driving a vehicle while failing to display two licence plates
Ashley PATROIS-HAYBECKER, age 19 or Arnprior, has been charged with:
Possession of a schedule 1 substance for the purpose of trafficking two counts
Possession of a schedule 1 substance two counts
Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5000
Both of the accused were held in custody and scheduled to appear for a bail hearing before the Ontario Court of Justice in Pembroke on February 24, 2025.
